English Premier League – August 14th
Match Odds: Wolves 2.33, Draw 3.28, Stoke City 3.31

On a weekend I like to back the draw and I will be backing three this weekend, with Wolves v Stoke being the pick of them. I like to point punters in different directions, very few back the draw and it is a very effective tactic as you only need one winner in three to show a profit.

Wolves’ home record against teams of Stoke’s grading last season was W2 D2 L2. Stoke’s away record against teams of Wolves grading’ last season was W1 D4 L1. When teams of similar grade met last season the record was Home 11 Draw 14 Away 11.

Of the 12 games Wolves and Stoke participated in, eight had under 2.5 goals.

The draw is best priced at 3.35 on betting exchanges, with other firms offering 3.25.

I do not think the game will be high scoring so will rule out the 2-2 draw and above and will Dutch 0-0 and 1-1

0-0 is 8/1 (9.0) and 1-1 is 6/1 (7.00)

Tip: Wolves v Stoke (Dutch 0-0 & 1-1 @3.95)

The other draws I will be backing this weekend are Bolton v Fulham (3.40) and Blackburn v Everton (3.45)
