Income and growth balance in your ISA will serve you well in retirement
In his 2020 book The Psychology of Money, Morgan Housel dedicates an entire chapter to the difference between being ‘rich’ and being ‘wealthy’. We all fall victim to using the terms interchangeably, but Housel reminds us that ‘rich’ merely refers to your current income and that, “wealth is hidden. It’s income not spent…its value lies in offering you options, flexibility, and growth to one day purchase more stuff than you could right now.”
