All aspects of entrepreneurship covered
Business guru Guy Rigby has unveiled a new book to guide entrepreneurs through all stages of the start-up process.
From Vision To Exit provides relevant bite-size tips for those starting a business, and offers a personal insight based on Rigby?s 35 years in business.
Currently head of entrepreneurial services at Smith & Williamson, Rigby has previously built and sold his own accountancy firm, and served as a director of companies in the IT, property, defence and manufacturing spaces.
The book has already received acclaim from a host of entrepreneurs. Julie Meyer, founder of Entrepreneur Country, described From Vision To Exit as ?a must-read tome for any aspiring entrepreneur?, while Go Ape! Founder Tristram Mayhew said the book ?deserves a Michelin Star.?
Nick Jenkins, Founder of Moonpig.com, said: “I am often asked for advice about starting a business and I was thinking of writing it all down. Guy has saved me the effort. I will just hand out a copy of this book.?
To coincide with the launch of his new title, Rigby ? a judge of this year?s Fast Growth Business Awards – has offered a series of top tips to help entrepreneurs looking to grow a business. The tips include the following:
Never underestimate the power of the status quo. Inertia means that it can take time (and additional cash) to achieve your vision and goals.
Consider meaning as well as money. Work towards a ?triple bottom line? ? valuing people, planet & profit.
Protect your Intellectual Property. Don?t let someone else take advantage of your innovation, investment and hard work.
From Vision To Exit is available from all good bookshops, priced at £19.99. Publisher Harriman House is offering a free eBook edition of the title to anyone who purchases the print version.
