John Burford, PhD (physics) and former CTA, left NASA to pursue a career in financial markets. He has written a new book, Tramline Trading-A Practical Guide to Swing Trading with Tramlines, Elliott Waves and Fibonacci Levels. Burford focuses primarily on one of the most useful guides to identifying market turns: the parallel channel. He also covers wedges and triangles and offers advice with an in-the-trenches perspective. The book’s format is much like EWI’s own Wayne Gorman and Jeff Kennedy’s Visual Guide to Elliott Wave Trading and is a valuable complement to it.
