As Morgan Housel argues in The Psychology of Money, investors shouldn’t seek to be “coldly rational when making financial decisions”, but instead aim to “just be pretty reasonable”. It is better to stick to a strategy that you can live with and helps you sleep at night, than one that will prove a source of regret or worry.
